What is COBRA Companion?
COBRA Companion was developed to help the COBRA Administrator facilitate the complex task of administrating the COBRA law. COBRA Companion works hand-in-hand with the COBRA Administration Manager© allowing the Employer (or HR Manager) and Administrator to quickly and accurately input data into the COBRA Administration Manager. COBRA Companion allows an employer to submit employee data for newly hired employees and COBRA qualifiers. In addition, it will maintain a log of each record entered.
COBRA Companion is flexible enough to be used by a single company or a Third-Party- Administrator.
How can COBRA Companion help me?
Medium to large companies can have HR managers enter employee data through our secure website and send the data to their COBRA Administrator for importing. This can greatly improve accuracy and insure that the notifications are sent out in a timely fashion.
Third-Party-Administrators can save time and money by offering their clients the ability to send new hire information and COBRA qualifier information directly to them. This saves the administrator valuable time entering data and reducing the risk of errors.
How much does it cost?
The cost of COBRA Companion is structured so that you pay only for the groups that are using the web application, which makes it cost effective for a single company or Third-Party-Administrator.
